What I can help with
My work covers e-commerce, marketing and the practical use of AI. I approach each business a little differently because the people, systems and goals are never exactly the same.
You may need someone to take a close look at one area and give you a clear plan. Or you may want help organizing a larger initiative and working through it with your team.
01 · E-commerce
E-commerce
Amazon, Shopify and the work behind the sale.
I've been selling on Amazon since 2014 and have helped operate product businesses across marketplaces, direct-to-consumer sales and wholesale. My primary Amazon experience is in Canada and the United States, with additional experience in Europe.
I can help review how a brand is positioned, how products are presented, where customers may be getting lost and which changes are worth prioritizing. This can include Amazon listings, product content and images, search terms, launches, Shopify pages, customer journeys and marketing strategy.
I also bring experience with product development, sourcing and factory visits in China, so I understand that online selling starts well before a product goes live.
Examples of work
- Amazon listing and account performance reviews
- Product positioning, search terms, product page content and conversion opportunities
- Shopify website and customer-journey reviews
- Product launch and marketplace growth planning
- Coordination across ads, email, online store and catalogue priorities
- B2B, wholesale and Faire channel considerations
I can review advertising performance and recommend priorities, but I'm not advertising daily PPC account management as a standalone service.
02 · Marketing
Marketing
Clearer marketing for product and service businesses.
Marketing isn't one channel or one campaign. It's the way people find a business, understand what it offers and decide whether to take the next step.
I work with owners and teams to make those pieces clearer. That might mean reviewing a website, improving the structure and wording of a service page, developing a blog/content plan, identifying lead-generation opportunities, or looking at how advertising and follow-up emails work together.
I've worked with product marketing and event promotion, and I can help a service business with marketing strategy even when it doesn't sell anything online. I don't need to personally code a website to advise on what it should communicate and how it should work for customers.
Examples of work
- Marketing assessments and priorities
- Website messaging, content structure and customer pathways
- Blog/content strategy and search visibility planning
- Meta/Facebook campaign strategy for products, services or events
- Lead generation, email follow-up and customer retention
- Marketing plans for product launches or business initiatives
- Direction for a current team, contractor or agency

03 · AI
AI
Practical ways to start using AI in your business.
A lot of business owners know they should be learning more about AI but don't know where to begin. Others have tried a few tools but haven't found a useful way to make them part of regular work.
I help people understand what's available, identify tasks worth improving and become more comfortable using AI. We can work through real examples from your business, whether that involves research, content planning, repetitive communications or organizing information.
If a project needs custom automations, an AI agent or software development, I can help work out what is needed and collaborate with a technical specialist. Not every business problem needs a custom build, and not every tool is right for every job.
Examples of work
- Introductory AI sessions for owners or small teams
- Identifying useful everyday business applications
- Practical ChatGPT and Claude workflows
- Content and research processes supported by AI
- Helping teams decide what to automate and what needs human review
- Planning and coordinating larger technical implementations where appropriate

Strategy and interim marketing leadership
When you need direction before a full-time hire
Not every business needs, or is ready for, a permanent marketing director. Sometimes the more useful step is to have an experienced person review what is happening, establish priorities, clarify responsibilities and help lead a defined project.
I can work with an owner or existing team for a specific period, help assess work being done by an agency or contractor, and make sure the next steps are practical for the people involved. The scope depends on the business, and there is no requirement for an open-ended monthly arrangement.

Ways to work together
Focused advisory
We take one clearly defined question or problem, work through it and identify sensible next steps.
Review and action plan
I look more closely at the current setup, identify opportunities and put recommendations into a practical order.
Project guidance or interim leadership
I work with you and the people involved over an agreed period to help organize, guide and review the work.
Tell me what you're working on. I can suggest what kind of engagement would make sense after understanding the scope.
Questions
Things people ask first
Do you only work with Amazon and Shopify businesses?
No. I work with product businesses and service businesses, B2C and B2B. Amazon and Shopify are my main e-commerce specialties, but a service business may need clearer website content, a content plan, more inquiries or a better marketing process without selling anything online.
Do you manage Amazon PPC campaigns day to day?
I can review advertising performance and recommend priorities, but I'm not offering daily PPC account management as a standalone service.
Do you build websites or AI tools yourself?
I don't need to personally code a website to advise on what it should communicate and how it should work for customers. If a project needs custom automations, an AI agent or software development, I help work out what is needed and collaborate with a technical specialist.
How does an engagement usually start?
I start by reviewing how things are currently set up and identifying the areas I'd look at first. The work might be one focused review, a plan for a particular project, or a period of working alongside your team.
Is there a fixed price list?
Not for the first version of this site. Scopes differ, so tell me what you're working on and I can suggest what kind of engagement would make sense after understanding the scope.
Can you act as an interim marketing lead?
Yes, for a defined period. I can work with an owner or existing team, help assess work being done by an agency or contractor, establish priorities and make sure the next steps are practical for the people involved. There is no requirement for an open-ended monthly arrangement.
Let's talk about your business.
Tell me a little about what you do, what you're working on and where you'd like some help.
The first conversation is simple: what your business does, what you've tried, and whether I'm the right person to help. No pitch deck.
